King long Launches New Kingo Freezer Van in Qatar

Doha: King Long, for over 3 decades has been at the forefront of R&D, manufacturing, sales and services of large, medium sized busses and vans with three manufacturing bases, including Large & Medium-Sized Bus Base, Van Manufacturing Base and City Bus Base. Domasco, an Al-Futtaim group company and exclusive distributor of King Long has launched the New Kingo Freezer Van in Qatar.

The Kingo Freezer van is ideal for the transport of frozen or fresh-keeping goods such as meat, fruits, vegetables, seafood, drugs etc. The van is functional with a cooling capacity in the range of -10 to 18 degree Celsius. This refrigerated transport vehicle is equipped with a cooling unit and polyurethane heat insulated compartment of about 80mm thickness with the material used being glass reinforced plastic. It is specially designed for optimal performance of good insulation and high strength.

The rear door of the cooling compartment opens upwards with a secondary door to keep the insides airtight to prevent loss of cool air. This arrangement also provides convenience for cargo loading and unloading. The inside of the cooling compartment is a spacious 3010 mm in length, 1500 mm in width and a height of 1450 mm. On the inside of the cabin there is an emergency call button to guarantee safety in case of someone being accidently trapped in the cabin.

The condenser and evaporator have a long operating life with low noise and high efficiency. The insides of the cooling compartment have air guide channels that ensure uniform cooling throughout the cabin.

The cockpit of the van is equipped with a user-friendly dashboard with a reasonable layout of buttons and controls for convenient operation and a traditional 4 spoke steering wheel. The control panel for the freezer with integrated circuit control for easier operation is also conveniently located on the dashboard. Apart from the driver, the van can also accommodate 2 other passengers in the front on its spacious seats. 

The Kingo Freezer van comes with a powerful 2.4L engine, 217nm torque and 137 HP matted to a 5 speed manual transmission. The mechanical hydraulic power steering wheel is adjustable as per driver convenience. 

The Kingo Freezer Van also has an Anti-Lock Braking System with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution to ensure wheels do not lock under heavy braking and ensures that each wheel gets the right amount of braking force. This ensures safety of the driver, passenger and cargo. Reverse radar with buzzle alarm, driver and passenger seat belts, brake liquid alarm are some of the other safety features.
